Description: Ukraine’s national event marking World Press Freedom Day (WPFD) will highlight the role and contribution of women journalists, who represent the majority of media professionals in the country. Working under the challenging conditions of the ongoing war, women journalists continue to report from the frontlines, investigate war crimes, and ensure access to reliable information for Ukrainian society and the international community. The event will bring together representatives of media, civil society, international organizations, and public institutions. The programme will include opening remarks, a panel discussion, a short documentary screening, and a networking reception.
