On May 2nd, from 20:00 – 22:00, the UNESCO/Guillermo Cano Award Ceremony 2024 will be held.
 UNESCO/ Guillermo Cano Award Ceremony at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Santiago and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (upon official invitation).

  Hosted in Chile, this year's Conference is dedicated to the importance of journalism and freedom of expression in the context of the current global environmental crisis .   On World Press Freedom Day 2023 , UNESCO will organize a special  anniversary event  at UN headquarters in New York, marking the 30 years since the UN General Assembly’s decision proclaiming an international day for press freedom .
