World Press Freedom Day

  Freedom of expression is the cornerstone of a democratic system. This event seeks to highlight and share some of the main challenges being debated in the region today in order to achieve the full exercise of this right, both in the traditional media system and on the Internet . Catalina Botero, Director of the UNESCO Chair on Freedom of Expression at the University of Los Andes and Consulting Director of Columbia Global Freedom of Expression, will present the book "Manual for the Defense of Freedom of Expression: Inter-American Standards for the Defense of Freedom of Expression ”, which systematizes the inter-American standards and the standards of the Colombian Constitutional Court on freedom of expression in criminal, civil and constitutional proceedings.
